Understanding Natural Gas Rates
The Supply and Transportation rates are applicable to customers supplied by Kitchener Utilities only. If you are purchasing your gas from another retailer and have questions about your rate, please call your broker directly - their phone number will be listed on your utility bill.
Supply Rate: The rate charged for natural gas commodity, fuel, and administration.
Variable Delivery Rate: The rate charged for delivering natural gas from the Ontario border to your home.
Transportation Rate: The rate charged for bringing the natural gas to the Ontario border.
Daily Fixed Delivery Charge: The rate charged for mantaining secure delivery of natural gas to your home.
