Bill Payment Options

We know you’re busy. Paying your Kitchener Utilities bill doesn’t have to be a chore. With your convenience in mind, we provide several easy ways to pay your Kitchener Utilities bill – so you can choose the payment option that best suits your schedule.

Telephone Banking

Telephone banking is available through most financial institutions to pay your Kitchener Utilities bill.

When paying by telephone banking:

  • For your Kitchener Utilities bill, enter your 9-digit account number

Some financial institutions require a 17-digit number. If your bank requires a 17 digit number:

  • For your Kitchener Utilities bill, enter 6 zeros, then your 9-digit account number, then 01

Internet Banking

Internet (online) banking is available through most financial institutions to pay your Kitchener Utilities bill.

When paying by Internet banking:

  • For your Kitchener Utilities bill, enter your 9-digit account number

Payment Drop Boxes

Please make your cheque payable to City of Kitchener. Payment drop boxes are located at:

  • Kitchener City Hall, Young St. Entrance
  • Kitchener City Hall Rotunda

No cash please.

In Person

You may pay with cash, cheque, or debit in person at Kitchener City Hall, Main Floor, cashier area.

Equal Payment Plan

An Equal Payment Plan for natural gas, water, and sewer is available for your convenience. A one-year consumption history on the property is required to be eligible. Contact us for more information.
